Becton-Dickinson Scholarships, $1000.
- For children of current B-D (Broken Bow facility) employees
- Applicant must have a "C" average or above
- Two scholarships will be awarded for 4-year degree program
- One scholarship will be awarded for technical degree
- Apply for this scholarship
Darlene Bigbee Nursing Scholarship, $300.
- Must be a Senior at a Custer County High School or Sandhills High School, Dunning
- Financial Need will be a consideration
- Must be pursuing a degree in Nursing (2 or 4 year)

Broken Bow Rebekah Lodge #110 Scholarship, $500.
- Senior at a Custer County High School
- Student residing in Custer County and attending a school in a contiguous county
- General studies students.
- Four scholarships will be awarded.

- Senior at a Custer County High School

Adams Land and Cattle Scholarships, 4 at $500 each
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- Have a GPA of 3.0
- Enter a 4-year, 2-year, or technical degree program
- Four scholarships will be awarded, one in each of the following: Agriculture, Business, Computer/Engineering, Art/Music.
- Scholarships will be paid the second semester of Freshman Year

Russell Adams Jr. Memorial and Angenette Adams Scholarship, 2 at $250 each
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- Have a GPA of 3.0 and ranked in the top 30% of the class
- Enter a 4-year degree program
- Two scholarships will be awarded, one in each of the following: Agriculture, Business

- Preference given to student entering a health care or related field

- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School

- Field of study - Chemistry

Forsyth Family Scholarship for the University of Nebraska, 2 for $8,000; Hastings College, 1 for $8,000
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- Must have a "B" or better average
- Enter a 4-year degree program
- Two $8,000 scholarships for the University of Nebraska
- One $8,000 scholarship for Hastings College
- Scholarship will be paid at $2,000 per year

- Must be a Broken Bow High School Senior (who has attended Broken Bow High School at least 3 years)
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 required
- For a 2 or 4-year degree at a Nebraska institution

- Must be a Senior at Broken Bow High School

Harry and Lenora Richardson Scholarship, $1,000
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- General studies

Mark and Pat Russell Coaching Scholarship, $500
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must have participated in 2 extra-curricular activities for at least 2 years (only one can be a sport)
- For a 4-year degree in physical education with a coaching minor
- $250 freshman year, and $250 junior year

Mildred Schweitzer Memorial Scholarship, $300
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- Any 2-year technical degree program

Lowell and Ida M. Spencer Scholarship, $1,000
- Must be a senior at Broken Bow High School
- Must have attended Broken Bow High School all 4 years of study
- For pre-medicine; pre-dental, or pre-law studies

Fred and Alice Werner Scholarship, $1,000
- Must be a senior at Anselmo-Merna High School
- Have a GPA of 3.25 or be in the top 30% of the senior class
- Enter a 4-year degree program in education or medicine

For Arnold Students
Scott B. Cool Memorial Scholarship, $1,000
- Must be a senior at Arnold High School
- Have a GPA of at least 2.75 for the first semester of college
- Scholarship will be paid the second semester of the student's freshman year of college.
- If this requirement is not met, the scholarship will go to the first alternate.

- Must be a senior at Arnold High School

Adair and Mary Ellen Tunnel Memorial Scholarship, $500 for Stapleton; $500 for Arnold
- Must be a senior at Arnold or Stapleton High School
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- For a 2 or 4 year degree program in Agriculture, Ag-Business, or Education
- $500 for a Stapleton student
- $500 for an Arnold student

College Level Scholarships
Custer County Home Extension Scholarship, $300
- Graduate of a Custer County High School
- Third year or above student at a Nebraska post-secondary school
- Must demonstrate financial need

Jeanne M. Mohatt Memorial Scholarship, $1000
- Former Broken Bow High School graduate
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Nebraska university or college
- For students entering their junior year of studies
- Preference given to students in the following degree areas: Journalism, English, Political Science, or Education

Dr. Clyde and Ethelyn E. Wilcox Scholarship, $500
- Graduate of a Custer County High School
- GPA of 3.0 or above, upper 1/3 of class
- Third year or above student of Medicine, Nursing, Journalism, Theatre, or Architecture

Non-Traditional Scholarships
The Custer County Foundation, Inc. will accept, at anytime, grant applications from non-traditional students who wish to pursue higher education through coursework at colleges, community colleges, tech schools, vocational schools or etc. The application will be reviewed and grants awarded to eligible students within two months of receipt. Scholarships are not intended for current year graduating students. Applicant must be a resident of Custer County.
